A leading newspaper’s editorial department needed a fully automated solution to convert English news content into Gujarati with high linguistic accuracy and minimal manual intervention. The editorial team relied heavily on manual translation and formatting of English news stories into Gujarati, which created several operational challenges. The process was time-consuming, with translators spending hours converting and preparing daily content, and it introduced a high chance of human errors through manual transcription, translation, and data entry. These inefficiencies often resulted in newsroom bottlenecks, especially under strict publishing deadlines, and any delay directly affected the release schedule. Additionally, the lack of standardisation in output formatting and writing tone led to inconsistencies across published content, while the growing volume of news made the process difficult to scale without increasing manpower.
