Project Summary

The BKV Erkende Verhuizer website is a public-facing platform representing the Belgian professional federation of certified moving companies. The aim of the project was to deliver a fully responsive, search-and-connect web portal that enables consumers.

As a website project, the goal was to create a responsive, multi-language platform reflecting the brand’s values (clarity, trust, entrepreneurial support) and service breadth, while enabling content growth (blogs, team pages, locations) and good UX

Problem Statement

  • A lack of centralised, searchable directory of certified movers.
  • Limited or outdated digital presence for the federation’s brand and its certified members, which reduced consumer confidence
  • Complex functional requirements
  • Requirements for mobile responsiveness, performance (since many users would search on-the-go), and accessibility (public service nature).
  • Backend and listing-management challenges
  • The website project needed to solve for both user-experience (UX) and operational/administrative efficiency
